Young Guns, We Are The In Crowd, Your Demise & Marmozets

Possibly the hottest ticket in town, and the most packed I’ve seen Norwich Waterfront in a while, the Vans Off The Wall tour hit Norwich with Young Guns, We Are The In Crowd, Your Demise & Marmozets.

An interesting mix of music from the screaming Your Demise and Marmozets, to the pop of We Are The In Crowd, and then the somewhere in between Young Guns.

I managed to clear using flash with all the tour managers before the gig, allowing me to get more out of the Waterfront than I would without flash. As usual, my flash was dialed down to a fairly low setting, to light the band members whilst retaining as much of the onstage light as I could. These are my favourite shots followed my slideshow of of bands.

Straight Lines + Evarose at Norwich Waterfront

Despite there being two great promising bands playing, this show was again poorly attended, whilst the rest of this tour was packed.

Straight Lines put on an energetic show despite the lack of crowd, putting all their anger and aggression at the low turn out, in to their performance.

Support band Evarose have grown so much in the last 12 months, with new EP Elements featuring a bigger sound than previous EP Creation Divide.

The static lights at the Waterfront Studio don’t make for the best conditions to photograph bands in, but here are a few shots. Slideshows of both bands with more photos at the bottom of the page.
